@bryantallard . Just a word of caution, Don't get hung up on the weight you measured. You showed that your scale doesn't have the accuracy so right now, it's just a big red herring. Also, reread through the posts of all the things that need to come together in order for this to be a genuine error and you'll see that it will be a real stretch. Too bad you didn't follow some of the recommendations on how to get an accurate weight and an XRD of the surface. Nothing wrong with sending it to Mr. Diamond, it's just going to take longer to get an answer.
Looks like silver just not as mirrored as the front of the coin has some blue stuff on it looks like something Blue Gum like or something's weird
maybe you were on vacation? https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1971-p-half-dollar-looks-silver-update.305826/#post-2906771
Who knew it was the reader's responsibility to regularly follow the OP's posting habits? Call me crazy, but the obvious would have been to update the original thread. Cheesy comments made in response to reasonable questions are just so much easier though.
I for one enjoy the way @furryfrog02 gives his knowlege, have you ever thought that you might be wrong? And if you were, would you stand up for it , and claim it?
why didn't you mention this in the update 6 months ago when I posted the one that said "update"? I think that the only thing that is really obvious is that we have 2 different opinions and 2 different methods of doing things. if everyone did everything the same way... life would be boring
if you had read the updated link you would not be asking me this as I have already had it looked at and admitted that I was wrong.
