1971-D Person in the window ?

Looking through some coins and I see this shape in the top left window that looks like someone. Is this an error or is my eyes and imagination playing tricks on me ?

I think you need to step carefully away from the microscope.

That looks like something hit the surface of the coin. Examine enough coins with enough magnification, and you'll find marks that look like anything you care to imagine. I don't think this one is an error; I think it's simple circulation.

 

It's a "trick" of sorts - they actually put a tiny mirror in the window & that's you looking back at you!

all you do is stare at her nosefor 30 seconds and look at the ceiling she'll be there in color.... How cool is optical illusions?!

seriously tho it does look like somethings there I think Shrews nailed it with the die chip, awhile back we had someone thought Lincoln had his legs crossed in the memorial on an LMC sorry about clowning couldn't help myself !!
