1971 Canadian Cent... Obverse Damage & Rotation Question

    Not sure what happened to the obverse, maybe acid? My question is, shouldn't the rotated die be to the right? Why is it to the left? (ink is on plastic not coin) 1971cropobv.jpg 1971fullobv.jpg 1971fullrev.jpg dierotation.jpg

    Slight rotation.. Within tolerance.

    Appears to have only been partially in contact with some acidic substance as the reverse wasn't really effected. Urinal coin? Yuk!
