Nothing really. Super common and no real collector interest. I'm not sure if they're even still legal tender.

    In the US, nothing.
There are click bait articles that some of these in top condition are selling for
5-50 pounds. They are pretty much worthless since they made a billion and a half of them and yours is in circulated condition.

Unfortunately, I concur with the previous two commenters. These are common as dirt and worth little more than that, due to the massive mintages.

    Ridiculous. Nothing?

They are worth 1p each. It says so on them. The scrap value of the copper is actually a tiny bit more. :greedy:

They are still legal tender, although there's precious little you can buy with just one.

They are actually becoming increasingly uncommon in change, as they are withdrawn and replaced with the more modern steel-cored type.

If it's not 100% copper the scrap value is also almost nothing.
If it is still legal tender then it is worth 1/100th of a pound in England.
In the US it is worth nothing.
