1970s RPM or Not?

    Found this today and looks like a RPM to me. What do you think?

    Na, they chip rite around the S not an error that has value. I have a few of them like that. and welcome to CT> :)

    If you look at the date, you'll see the same type of effects.
    So unless they also RPM'd the date, it's probably MD.

    Of course, they don't "repunch" dates. but always look around the coin, not just one singular area. You'll get more clues around the coin usually.

    Ok, shoot I was doing two things at once, he was talking about that... arg.

    Yes, the OP's Thread Title was
    "1970s RPM or Not?"
    and his question was
    "Found this today and looks like a RPM to me. What do you think?"

    leaving me to believe he was asking about the Mint Mark, as RPM is Repunched Mint Mark.

    @Autoturf, if you look at all the threads you post to you rush, and end up posting multiple times correcting yourself or providing vague information.
    Maybe you should stop doing two things at once ?
    just a thought for clarity ...

    For you information, the 70S rpm does resemble his coin. and don't be a jerk.

    1970 S rpm 001 but I see the machine doubling.
