1970S LMC w/ possible die crack...not sure if small or large date

    Another find in my stash...I believe it to be a large date, low 7. Thoughts. Also, on the reverse it looks like there might be a die crack or does it look more like the lines on a heavily polished die? Thanks!

    For sure the Large Date variety.
    Nice die crack, though.

    The line on the reverse looks like a die scratch to me, as it is quite straight and has a very even width. It also goes under the "C" and not over it.
    Check closely for a point on the top inside end of the "9" in the date.
    It is best seen when lit from below.

    I would go with a die crack also. It appears to be interrupted where something abraded it near the E, indicating it was raised if so. And when enlarged it is fairly straight, but there are some areas it appears to 'stutter' a little. Not very important anyway. Jim
