Hey guys and gals. I got this 1970 S LMC. I am not sure about it being the small date. I'm needing a little help on determining if it is an actual small date. I know the 9 in the date is supposed to point east and this one appears to. But my untrained eyes sometimes play tricks on me. I also know it has some damage on it but that's not what I'm concerned with. So I'm asking for opinions on it. Thanks for you opinions and time.
The 2nd photo on the top right looks close. The curl on the 9 and the high 7. It doesn't have the weak liberty. Better pictures are needed.
