You are exactly correct. Now I am not an error/variety collector. But there are series of coins that I need only look at briefly to tell you everything about it. But then I have been handling them for fifty years. The error folks on this site have handled untold thousands of coins from their chosen series and can recognize the diagnostics in an instant....
