I'm really trying to learn the difference in the small and large date and on this one since the curve of 9 pointed at mint mark then its a large correct? Yes a lot of pics Sorry if it bothers anyone. 0727170724_HDR.jpg 0727170724a.jpg 0727170723k.jpg 0727170723j.jpg 0727170723i.jpg 0727170723h.jpg 0727170723f.jpg 0727170723g.jpg 0727170723a.jpg 0727170716b.jpg

Also note that the 7 is "low" compared to the 9 and 0.

The height of the 7 and the tail of the 9 are the key in this determination. Although other points may assist, these two are simply the easiest way to judge. Also, you have several pics that could help us but, they appear to be from different angles to so...stating an opinion could be incorrect. I personally use a jeweler's eye rather than computer microscope or camera. Your choice.

Yes the small date has a pointy 9 bottom, it's not blunt.
The shape of the 0 is also a marker, but the 1970 SD/LD can be more subtle
    than other small/ large dates.
I believe this is the one where LIBERTY is not crisp on the small date.
