I'm brand new to this site as well as the hobby, so please forgive me for any mistakes or inaccuracies in going about things here. I believe I've found a 1970 s large date double die Lincoln penny and have some questions. First, is it actually what i think it is? Second, what's it's value? Lastly, if it is a coin of value what do i do with it now? Thanks
No, it is machine doubling of no value. You can tell because the images are one normal height and the other flattened. True DDO , both have similar height. This is up to when they changed to a single squeeze in the 90s. Here is a 1972 DDO and here is one that is machine doubling on the date Pretty, but worth just for effect. Jim
