Well we aren't finding any matches and it is clearly a ddo. So most likely its discovery piece. Maybe it might be listed on another site but I am pretty sure someone would find a match up by now if it was listed. Looks to me it could be from the same die or it could be a different stage of ddo-005.
I checked them all if it is not 12 none of the others resemble it at all. I think it is 12, but the overlays seem to prove otherwise. It would be worth the $8 to send it to Wexler.
Yea I am going to have to agree. I've been looking through all of them and can't find the exact match. So I am going to break down and send it to wexler first thing in the morning. Sent from my Z981 using Tapatalk
It's rare on here where someone posts a coin that we can't find a match for, and virtual no one calls it md
Please let us all know what he says in he end. Post back to this thread so we don't miss it maybe. I'm sure we are all dying to know. Good luck bro
. I use an app called Superimpose Studio for iPhone. I scale and rotate the images with the editing software that comes with the phone, then insert them into Superimpose. The free version doesn't let you save so when I get the overlay ready I take a screenshot. I still can't tell if there is doubling on the L or B to go along with the I. There would almost have to be considering it looks like a class 2. There aren't anymore class 2 DDOs listed other than proofs. I say send it to Wexler or Wiles. You may get lucky.
