I was told this extra "Y" is damage. Need input from an outside perspective.

There may also even be an outline of a chin/lips way off centered and lettering.

Nothing.. Just simple circulation wear and tear. What you are seeing is considered Pareidolia.

You are looking too hard. Before you start searching for true Mint Errors I suggest you educate yourself first in what they are. Also learn the minting proccess to understand how coins are made.

Not everything strange or odd you see on circulated coins automatically make them minting errors.

Sorry, can't help it. I spent a long time using these eyes as a grunt. I tend to pick up the little things that most ignore or try to conceal. Probably the reason why I gained an interest in these pennies.

Could be significant, could be not. Either way, I'm learning along the way and I appreciate your advice.

Pappa...come oooonnnn maaaaannnn! You are new to it sure, but have some humility. Its not cool. How would you have felt had you bought that coin? Have some integrity. So you messed up, so what. These guys try to keep this hobby honest for guys like us who are learning and enjoying the game. Respect that or just fall into the pit that so many have fallen into.

Not a DDO, not floating and also does have initials....worse than I thought.
