    A clear photo of both sides of your coin would help, but it appears you have a normal quarter worth 25 cents. You are probably thinking of the proof 1970 s quarter struck over a 1941 Canadian quarter, but yours isn't it.

    Oh, that's right. I do seem to recall reading something about that once. What a strange error.

    good info ==> https://mikebyers.com/1949701-013.html

    but first you have to believe you see a 1941 stamp on the above op picture.

    Then there's other identifiers too.

    I clearly do NOT see a 1941 on OPs picture. But hey, it's just a picture.

    You need clear photos of both sides completely. There's more than just a singular "9".

    That is just zoomed in and all there is is pixelated images.

    Take the coin to a well lit place so that the camera you are using uses a higher shutter speed so it's not fuzzy from movement. and good lighting. The lighting there is bad.

    There is one famous example of this thing, which was made intentionally,
    and I don't consider it an error. I don't believe there are any other examples

    What you are seeing is called pareidolia. Send a picture of the edge of the quarter. It would have to be silver to be struck on a 1941 Canadian quarter. Also as mentioned earlier this is a unique "error" which was intentionally made and it's not likely there are other examples.

    OK, yes, I can sort of see what appears to be a tiny curved mark in the blurry photo.

    Interpreting that as the 9 in the date of a 1941 Canadian quarter is a HUGE stretch of the imagination, however.

    You'll need to prove this isn't just another case of pareidolia and imagination run wild. Sorry, but we've had way too much of that around here lately.

    Post clearer pictures, and include a picture of the edge of the coin. That's the easiest first check to make. Show us the edge.

    "Clearly" is not the word you should use for the picture you posted.

    Still waiting for better, "clear" pics...In the meantime, you can experience an epiphany that your coin is not a proof, research "pareidolia" and accept the wisdom offered to you.
