I am assuming, of course, that the coin has real nice luster. They tend to ignore those "spots" and those fields are nearly perfect.
63 or 64? please. i don't see any ngc 63's or 64's or even 65's this nice. same goes for pcgs 63's, 64's, 65's, they are not this nice.
im going to start sending my coins in i have the same or better condition. But the way people talk on this informative site, "it will come back a low grade so don't waste your money". if your coin got that grade, i'M sending them in...thank you for the post.
IMHO, the coin is over graded. Damaged head + stains and large bag marks on coat. Reverse is "gem" but SO WHAT. The luster and color must be amazing (not evident in OP) as that is the only thing that could bail this piece of spending money" out. I'm with the 63 - 64 members here. IMO, this is just another case of: The coin is not worth much so let's give it a MS-65.
