Hi, I was wondering if somebody could tell me if this coin had any value. i heard that 1970 dimes with no "s" on them were worth a good amount of money. I took pictures. I'm not expecting anything, but I gotta ask! :)

    I'd say 10 cents.

Up until 1980, dimes did not have mint marks on them other than the "S" mintmark proof coins. The 1970 no mintmark dimes that are being referred to are the 1970 no "S" mintmark and these are proof coins usually found in US Mint proof sets.

Dimes from the Denver mint would also include the D mint mark. Here's a pic of a D from 1970 off ebay.

Nope, sorry for the bust. Its only worth ten cents.

If you thought it was worth "a good amount," why are you holding it like that? Put on some gloves, man!

I understand. I often get click happy myself. By the way, I have dimes with D's, O's, S's, and CC's on them. I even have some recent dimes with P's on them.
