    It is either damaged or grease filled. Neither are worth a premium.

    Your cent is damaged, and you can't change it. Thinking you have an error, and it being one is a completely different thing.

    Yes, and is due to said damage. Look closely and you'll see remnants of the lower leg still there, albeit in a different form.

    Just going through the motions to say I agree with damage. The metal is very easy to move around and a good hit shoved the lower leg away. Sorry, but it is what is and not an error.

    "L" = uppercase or capitalized.

    "l" = lowercase.

    The "L" of "LIBERTY" on her coin has had the lower leg hit or otherwise damaged, meaning it now resembles a lowercase "l".

    Easy peasy.
