Curious if this fits the bill for a doubled die?

No, it is either machine doubling due to the looseness or wear of the machinery or the overuse and spreading of the die face. IMO, Jim

MD, there is no mistaken identity of a real doubled die 1969 cent.

Mintmarks were not part of hubbing in 1969. Mintmarks were punched into working dies then. And there are no RPMs for 1969-S that I'm aware of.

Not even close. Any spreading towards the rim is Die deterioration. Add the flat and shelf like and you have MD also.
