1969 S Penny DDO

Just doing some coin roll hunting and came across this 1969 s DDO. I haven't been able to find any like this to compare it to so here I am asking for help in a possible value of the coin as well as any information. I have taken it to some coin dealers and they agree on it being a DDO. The back side of his head, Liberty and "IN" In God We Trust is doubled. I've been wrong before so any and all help would be great! Thank you.

I don’t think it’s what you think. Looks like machine doubling, not DDO

 

Why didn't you ask the coin dealers of it's value while you were there?

 

You're looking in the right spot but you wanta look for something like this..

 

The ledge on the back of Lincoln, and the heavy "doubling" all occurring on the left, makes me think it's MD.

If you had this at coin dealers I would think they all would be interested in the coin as a DDO.

 

For what it's worth, most average dealers know very little about varieties. The success of their business demands that they spend less time on searching for varieties and more time on turning over their inventory.
