    Hello All,

Trying go see if this is a doubling. I wasn't quite sure so I need some professional help from the pros. Thank you.

You're looking too hard. Every coin is strike-doubled, somewhere. You look at them that closely, you're going to see it every time.

Sure there is. It's called, in science, the null hypothesis. You have to disprove the null hypothesis - which is that nothing special is happening. In other words, "nothing to see here" always gets the benefit of the doubt.

Agreed! However, I do see a pelican in Abe's hair above the forehead.

Yes! Start searching quarters, half dollars or dollars. Pennies always gave me headaches!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

But seriously, no one else sees the D mint mark just below Abe's cheekbone? :wideyed:

Yes, but any fool knows that Abe couldn't possibly have been in Denver and San Francisco at the same time.

Or could one co-conspirator at Philly send a die to Denver, to have the D stamped into Abe's mug by another co-conspirator, then return it to Philly as defective, and then send it out to San Fran, who wouldn't notice it because, well, it's San Fran in the late 60's, alright? And voila!

Funky. Looks like a well formed MM, but it could just be the most coincidental PMD ever.

So just curious cause I'm trying to figure out what these might be cause it's so noticeable. I'm not saying these are errors but I just want to know what the term is for the following. Thank you.

We refer to that in the law as a "rebuttable presumption." Translated, every coin is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Every legislator arrives here with the rebuttable presumption of irrelevance. They must work their backsides off rebutting, to coin a pun.

Just like every new member here arrives needing to rebut our tendency to pun the coin.
