1969 S Lincoln penny I found

    Spark1951 Accomplishment, not Activity

    So...my take is: when the obverse was flattened by whatever means, the metal of the bust of Lincoln was pushed through to show on the reverse, mimicking Indirect Die Transfer (as I understand it)...imo...Spark

    (btw, I am open to other explanations).

    I also thought Progressive Indirect Die Transfer. Why did you change your mind about this?
