They say first buy the book, then buy the coin. Same thing here, if you don&#039;t know what to look for one might slip by. There is always the outside chance you can find a new unknown doubled die. Some have only one or two or four coins ever found. That tells me there were other times, dates,&nbsp; a few slipped by quality control for a few minutes but 5, or 10, or 1000 coins out of say 5 1/2 billion coins for a particular mint in a particular year is going to be DARN hard to find.
