You be the judge. The seller has zero feedback and has no large, close up picture. What do you think? Real... or fake? http://cgi.ebay.com/1969-S-Lincoln-...59?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3a639b065b
I sent him a mail, Just to see how he responds. I love people like this I wish I could walk to any painting and shout out PICASSO !!!!
the fact that there are 69-s DDO's, it could be a possbility that is is legit however the fact that the seller does not enlarge the picture to show a closer view would make me think that it is a fake..
Bully, did you see that seller has no feedback..and if that seller was smart then he/she would have it graded.
yeah,, I noticed that too... I guess it's just someone who's created a disposible ebay account and looking to score as much $$ from the coin hobby as possible before getting booted....
I saved the photo to my computer and pulled it up. the S looks to me looks more like the D instead. If the seller had a real Double he would have put more photos up
I contacted him with this mail trough ebay " Good evening, Just for fun. How did you come about figuring out that this is a DDO 1969 S. One of the rarest US coins ? Because I´m not seeing that in the pictures. Best regards" And his answer "I know those pictures suck, and im very sorry about that. I can email you more that look waaay better if you'd like. Im disappointed to say that I lost the 1969-S penny though. I do have the other 3 pennies listed. If i find it, I will let you know if you want. Thanks for your interest." So he can email me pictures of coin that he just lost.... So real or fake
lets think about this: zero feedback. no buys or sells. 4 items listed all DDO's [or double die-- annoying to start with]. and all crappy pictures. and she loses a 'supposed' $30,000 coin. Next she will be selling a bridge in Brooklyn
