Die markers can be and often are an excellent tool. However, and especially in a case such as this where the known variety displays impressive doubling, they're meaningless unless said doubling is a match.

Die Markers are scratches, Polish lines, die gouges, etc. They are only used when you have correctly attributed the coin. For example your coin is at best MD. The die markers are useless in this instance.
