I see no errors in your Cent. Not a Doubled Die if you think it's what it is. Mintage of 544,375,900 struck at the San Francisco Mint.. I have a dozen or so
Yes, "AND!" My crystal ball is in the shop for repairs. It would help if you were more specific. Chris
Well, I think I see a RPM, and some machine doubling. You can find about 2-3 like this in each roll of solid BU 1969-s cents fairly easily.
I get it! This is supposed to be a guessing game. Does it have something to do with the designer's initials? Chris
"Is it bigger than a breadbox?" BZZZZ! "Kitty Carlisle, your turn." [If you get that reference, well ... ]
I dont know it was just a coing i found out of the box of rolls and i seen doubling in the date and mm so i posted it . its not a game of guess this or guess that.
Routine machine doubling. Look for one with more obvious doubling WITHOUT the mintmark being doubled. Then the gods will have smiled on you.
If we're giving you a hard time, it is because we get threads similar to yours fairly often. Someone posts photos of a coin and doesn't bother to tell us what he/she sees. No, we can't read minds, so it is helpful if you explain yourself from the beginning. By the way, it looks like machine doubling to me in the first image.....flat and shelf-like. I don't see anything else in the other images. Chris
I. have a question. The date is struck into the cent by a die.right? So what does a hand punched mint mark" have to do with the strike doubling on the date of this cent?
