1969 lincoln cent major die break?

    Cool looking rim to rim. Is this a die crack or die break?

    I re-examined the coin and yes it is discolored where the crack is, but i assure you that the crack is raised above the surface.

    The crack does look flat , doesn't it . How can it be proved . I know show shot of coin on an angle ??

    Looks like a stain on the OP coin to me. The lines look too smooth to be a crack.

    There could be a slight raised edge to the stain, residue from whatever stained it.
