1969 floating roof maybe?

    spend them, I always keep the S mint ones, for no reason, they are typically lower mintage, but nothing scarce here.

    The roofs look normal. Spend them.

    If you can see any trace of the uprights on the ends, they are not true 'floating roofs'. If they are, they belong to you. You found them. And, I think you should keep them. They are not worth much to anyone but you.

    Thanks for taking the time to reply to my newbie babbling. I think I will keep them but not for me, one for each of my kids. They thought it was pretty cool

    what about the no "fg" on the coins or am i wrong about that too
