These s coins just keep coming I opened one up before I am getting ready to go to bed. Just thought I would show you what I found in this roll I will probably open up some rolls tomorrow than I may not have time. I got one more came out of this roll don't look like it happened out side the mint department.

The 1968 cent was the last year the mint used the old master die from 1916.
A new master was produced for the 1969 coins.
1968 was the last year for the high relief bust on the cent coins. All the design (lettering) had migrated to the edge of the coin. The difference is quite noticeable when these two coins are side by side.

Nice points you make...letters and numbers appear bigger on the 1968...

I wish they had kept the high relief and improved the detail on Lincoln.

Yeah I agree with idhair on that I would love to keep everything else the same. Not as nice as My 69s but still not a bad coin I think I got some red orange color some were can't remember we're I put them at. When I first really started collecting these coins I found a quit a few of them now it's like there really getting hard to find no matter what the condition is.
