Hi everyone. I found a nicely toned, 1968-S Lincoln cent with an odd mint mark. It immediately caught my eye after opening an OBW roll. I initially thought RPM and I went to varietyvista.com. The closest I could come up with is 1968-S RPM-001 but it's just not the same. What do y'all think?

It's a simple Die Chip on the Mint Mark.

    That's all.

No. Thats is not caused by a filled die. Its a chipped mint mark. Worn Die issue.
    No RPM at all.

Thanks everyone. I didn't consider die wear, but it makes perfect sense

Nice toning, nice condition...I would definitely keep it. If my memory serves, this is the last year of the old master die and they made huge piles of them at all 3 Mints. IMO...the general softness of the details is indicative of a worn working die, of course, that would affect the mint mark too...Spark

Ditto on Spark's comments--I'd keep the coin.
