1968 S DDO or extreme mechanical doubling with big nose opening

    It won't slab as any error, so you'll be throwing
    away your postage, submission fees, return postage,
    etc.

    And I assume you mean, by $5k, that you'll trade the
    coin for $5 worth of Krispy Kreme donuts.

    Keep it as an example of extreme strike doubling. That's why we kept ours. That way, when you see it billed as a mint error, you'll know better.

    Glad you like it, but it has no value other than face. It's not true doubling.
