1968 Plain Jefferson Nickel?

    Skull facing right I like it. (Chin facing the 8.). Is that right or left if chin of skull is facing the 8.

    Carl. Take a closer look. I thought I had a 1910 D Lincoln cent (I too ) was looking for the D role. So I placed it in the S hole Only to find out it was a 1910 S Check again cuz a 1910 D would be special.

    Same as the story on the 68 or 70 no mintmark nickels, the result of either a grease fill or the mintmark being polished off the die. Not sure which cause it was, but they do exist. But few people know about them and whenever someone asks everyone tells them the no mintmark means it was made in Philadelphia, even though Philadelphia didn't make nickels in those years.

    not throwing bricks, sorry was just having a bad day..sometimes people can be a bit snarky at times...learning to just take those remarks with a pound or two of salt..lol all is good
