Now, just because some unnamed person may work at the factory you had to look up, this in no way makes them privy to such information. A buddy of mine works at a dog food factory and he hasn't the faintest idea where or how they acquire materials and simply because it's not part of his job description. This is why I asked you to clarify in an attempt to lend credence to your claim. The guy working some machine on the floor isn't likely to know such things, but an individual tasked with purchasing materials very well may. This should be obvious.

No, I do not "know you speak the truth" and simply because you refuse to do anything to back up your claim, nor have I tried in any way to make an "ass" out of you. In fact, part of the reason I suggested your buddy head to the other side of town is because I just happen to know someone in said city, and in this very business, who regularly fields calls from folks asking about 95% copper as if he's too stupid to realize they're taking about cents. I'm sorry, but this is the type of person that anyone interested in saving cents needs to speak to, not some nameless factory worker who may or may not know what he's talking about.

No one expects you to divulge this person's name, but if you want to be taken seriously, you simply have to give us more to work with. This isn't an insult or a smear, but simple reality. You haven't even clarified which Canadian cents you're talking about, and throwing out a general percentage isn't going to get anyone fired. Please, think about it.

Oh, for Christ's sake! Again, not the tiniest effort to clarify.

Apparently it went over your head, but this isn't about being right or wrong. It is about one educating themselves before taking what they read on certain websites as unquestionable fact. Seriously, do you really want someone to take what they find on websites, spend years of their lives saving copper cents, and only later speak to the very people who would be the buyers of such material? Come on.... let anyone who may read this base their decision upon what said buyer tells them.
