1968 D (lettering on in God We Trust?)

    Good afternoon, I have a 1968 D cent that the letters that make up in God We Trust is different-especially the W & E in WE and also the T & R in trust. Does anyone know what this is? Thank you

    Just wear from 47 years of that Cent being in circulation. The rim has been banging around so much it flattened out a bit and the letters seem closer to it... But that's my opinion. Someone else might have another reply ;)
