I was just wondering if this would be considered an off center strike? His jacket and the date are touching the outside of the rim. I wasn’t really sure what the tolerance was for an off center strike but I thought this was pretty cool and I would share it and see what you guys had to say. Dearborn Above average collector - Is that an Error?

It appears to be a very mild off center strike, but most collectors only go for off center coins that have a portion of the device moved off the planchet.

Yup, now that you point that out (And another look at the images), It does look more like a MAD than an off-center strike

Definitely a MAD. Not valuable, but a cool thing to find and keep to show people.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call it off center but I would definitely call it a very nice MAD. Worthy of keeping.

Yep, keep it. Good for show-n-tell. Show it and ask them to let you know what they think is wrong with the coin. Bet you get more questions than answers! Thanks for posting it, good luck.

Asked and answered. I'm not sure what the mint standards are for MADs, but I'd say it's probably within specs for them.
