I found this 1968 cent bank coin rolling and wonder why does it look so pristine and the profile bust so clear?

I would say that your coin has been in storage for most of it's 50 years as the reason for it being Pristine. The Bust looks the way it does due to the dies that made it. The dies for this coin were revised in 1968 for the 1969 year. Compare these two years, or most any 60's coin to a 70's coin.
Nice coin, and good photos too.
