    Please confirm there is so many letters that show doubling. Backside, E and S in State and more.

    They look more like stains. Drop it in 100% Acetone (NOT nailpolish remover) for 15 minutes and then look again.

    Hi Kim…. I think what you are seeing is 55 years of wear and tear. That quarter has worked hard and between the battered and bruised surface and staining, it’s easy to see something that really isn’t there.
