i found this 1967 quarter with no ridges and its wider and no face at first i thought it was that someone shaved it down or something but when i put it on the scale it wiegh the same as my other 1967 quarter any input would be appreciated
Spooning is just on the edge of a coin. It raises the collar and makes the coin appear smaller than a normal sized coin of the same denomination.
99.9% or more of the coins that ppl think are mint errors are damaged. People do everything to coins. Don't limit your thinking becz you don't have a reason why someone would do anything because someone else did have a reason.
