1967 Kennedy Half Dollar Reverse - Mini Ray?

I ran accross this 1967 Kennedy Half which has what looks like a mini ray. Doesn't appear to be a die clash. Just wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this.

Well, the coin itself is well worn and that is probably is a die chip/IDB of some sort. I’ve not seen any varieties listed with this anomaly...imo..Spark

 

Never heard of a mini ray. Looks like a die chip to me.

 

"Mini Ray" is just something I came up with because of the shape.
