Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by AnewFoundhobby, Feb 27, 2015.

  1. I found this in a role of pennys I got at the little country store we stop at in the mornings on my way to work. Can anyone give me some info please.

It looks like the letters in "In God We Trust" got damaged by counters/rollers making it look like doubling.

Hard to say. Perhaps, but there are no other coins known like this. I have a tube of coins that are weird like this one and I simply keep them as a curiosities.
Reading all the literature on doubling though, I doubt this would qualify.

    It's not doubling.
