1967 5c FS......maybe?

    Doesn't look like a SMS to me. 1967 was the last year of the die so none have ever been found with FS, even the super mint 68s and 67s by pcgs and ngc don't even have any remnants of even one stair. There is a mark in the stairs but I've seen some FS with equal amounts of markings, Thoughts?

    Impossible to tell, from those photographs. Need better pictures.

    This is a nice coin. I think this would preclude it from FS.

    While a nice strike, the big hit would keep it out the FS IMHO.
    Worth keeping until a better one shows up.

    Agreed, the ding across the 3 steps above C in Monticello precludes FS designation.

    +1 on that, Plus an added thanks to the OP, when I cranked my head to the left my neck popped 4 times. Guess I don't have to go to the chiropractor tomorrow.
