That is not a coin but a medal. One side features the Goldsmiths House in Hanau (a city in the German state of Hesse, near Frankfurt). The picturesque building, formerly the city hall, is now an exhibition center. Nowadays the city has eight or so sister cities. But I have no idea who made/issued that medal - maybe the local Sparkasse (savings bank)? - and what the occasion may have been ... Christian
