Hello to all!! It’s been a while since I’ve made a post, but I came across this beauty yesterday, at the car wash of all places, and am hoping (as always!!) to hear the best news- that I’ve finally found a doubled die!!! Normally I would just huff and puff for being wrong, but this quarter is the most stunning quarter I’ve seen!! So- either way- I WIN!! But as always- I’d LOVE to know your thoughts on this quarter!! Please and thank you!!
Flat and shelf-like. No split serifs. Sorry, but you found a nice example of machine doubling. BTW, it's in nice shape for a 66 quarter.
Thank you! I honestly thought the same too, but when I looked it up on Wexler’s varieties page and Variety Vista- there weren’t too many pictures to really go on, but to me- they look flat as well!! Coins are hands down, the most hardest thing I have ever tried to learn!!! Surely there’s someone out there that is just dying to buy my machine doubled quarter! For the low price of ........... ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!! Thanks for the reply!
Double Die !!! (I stayed @ Hol Inn Exp once ; case closed) j/k - still a keeper ............................
Nice try. Not a doubled die. But I do see a triple machine doubling on the M. Please keep trying. I like your effort
