    Other than a slight MAD strike, I see nothing in your photo out of the ordinary. Full Image photos that are cropped to show just the coin would be helpful for more information.

    You have coins, then you have couns and if it's not either of those two then it's an any. Take your pick. Personally, I have no idea what a couns is. Lol

    Could be a slightly thinner planchet.
    However the coloration is not natural and it could have been in some
    form of acid which would have reduced the weight and changed the color.
    The tolerance is +/- .13 so the range is 2.98-3.24. I don't know how accurate your scale is, but it's not off by enough to matter much.
