I wonder how many people are sitting on a few Bank Wrapped rolls of their birth year cents or higher denomination rolls I too have a few rolls kicking around from 64.
Not a lot. There are several processes affecting the availability of modern rolls that are more apparent than any demographic cause. Rolls have not been popular to save for a long time. Even the penny rolls that are often common were set aside by relatively few entities. I've heard of individuals intercepting pallets or ballistic bags of new cents! No doubt many individuals are a little prone to picking up birth year coins and they might have a better chance of survival. As far as "higher denominations" there are few rolls of most dates and denominations above the nickel from before 1999. A lot of these are half dollars or dollars. Dimes might be even more unusual than quarters. There are of course mint set rolls in plastic tubes. Most original rolls from before 1965 are common date and frequently seen in higher denominations. Of course even these common date rolls can have rarities like varieties and Gems,
My wife was born in 64. I wish she still looked as good as that cent. When I was younger, I had possession of rolls of shiny cents like that as well. It was good to be king. But anyway, I'm not matinee idol myself anymore either, lol.
I believe your 1966 coin has errors; double dye obverse DDO (Date), off center also. Check it out, good luck.
