There are fakes and counterfeits galore out there, some so good it takes very specialized equipment to determine. That is why we referred you to PCGS or NGC. I doubt seriously that the jeweler has a XDRF like them, but he should have a sensitive scale to weigh the fractional carat diamonds. As far as the motel gold buyers... I saw no one that posted hatred, just straight forward doubt and desire to help you take a "possible rarity" forward. Anyway ,there was no abuse, we were trying to be honest in our comments ( at least in the posts I enumerated ), but we all have decisions to make, there are several other forum, maybe you will find some "help" there.[/QUOTE]
