1965 First Day First Issue

    The only first strke (per say) is a bill numbered 000000001

    But, but, but, you're the one that was asking about "First Strike™" designations....

    For the record, I do not recall subject of this particular label ever being approach on a Coin Forum.

    Also for the record, coin dealers and investors have a "remarkable sense" of creating special doo-dahs to sell to people with regards to coins. Everybody sells this stuff with the perceived promise that they will be worth thousands in the very near future.

    Also for the Record, is it was not produced by the US Mint, recorded by the US Mint, and sold by the US Mint, then that means it was somebodies idea from "outside" the US Mint and has little to no "real" value.

    The real key is just whether or not it is a true record of fact. I recall an old one done by PCGS I believe for a half that was mailed the first day and remained unopened. I could be completely wrong but I believe there was a CU thread about it. I still don't think your example would be enough to get it, but this has turned into a larger discussion from your own coin it seems.

    Hypothetically a coin of that date would have a big financial impact in the market
