1965 Dime - S on Neck?

    Not sure what it is...the dime is clad but the S is easy to see...could someone help me out?

    What you're experiencing is called "pareidolia". The anomaly isn't a S, but looks to be nothing more than a stain or the like that simply appears to resemble one.

    Agree with BooksB4Coins. Not close to the font used by the mint.

    Dang that's good! I can see why you asked, now. Believe it, though, you'll see stuff like that on coins, you look at enough of them. But that one's really good, I have to tell you. BTW, welcome.
