    Howdy,
Is this a partial collar strike and are those considered cuds above letter R and under neck? The die was really worn. 20211126_185752.jpg 20211126_185835.jpg Image_2021-11-26 18_50_37_689.JPG Image_2021-11-26 18_51_00_082.JPG Image_2021-11-26 18_53_21_916.JPG Image_2021-11-26 18_54_57_146.JPG Thanks for the help.

    Not partial collar.

Looks like a folded over rim fin.

    This is a cud

Originally thought it was damaged but I didn't see any vice or clamp marks. I looked up finning but was unsure if that much of an area was possible. But thinking about the pressure a press can exert, it makes sense now. Thanks again paddtman.

Also a Minor collar clash. It could be folded over rim as @paddyman98 said, or possibly a small chip in the collar. Either way, it's nothing significant.

I have a bad habit of saving minor, none value added errors in 2x2s, but this wouldn't make the cut. Spender, IMO

Not what you think but it’s not normal either. I’d keep it.

I am also thinking that it is a folded over finned rim.

I've had it for over 30 years and just now noticed it but my eyesight has always been bad. That's why I have to look at them several times taking breaks not wanting to miss anything and why I hoarded so much pocket change over the years....lol

It’s a rim cud, but not a partial collar

Thanks everyone, I had another question on reverse. There was a great deal of DDD and wondering if this pattern is a result? Thank you Image_2021-11-27 15_44_42_652.JPG Image_2021-11-27 16_06_42_838.JPG Image_2021-11-27 15_47_19_911.JPG Image_2021-11-27 15_48_22_177.JPG

It’s worn and as old hoops yet said, the Reeded edge of a coin made that mark.
