1964 sms Kennedy found in a roll

    I think you've skipped right past the forest and the trees, and zoomed in on one particular pine beetle. :rolleyes:

    I'm no SMS expert, but your photos are only showing the area for one diagnostic, and the odds of a normal coin having a mark that looks like that diagnostic are a lot higher than those of a real SMS coin somehow escaping into the wild and then being plucked from circulation.

    By looking at it I'd say that you are wanting die deterioration to be a die marker. @-jeffB says it best all the markers must be present. if you don't know what they are you need to do more studying. I am not seeing any resemblance to an SMS coin.
