1964 quarter over punched ?

    I got this quarter through some change. It looks as if one area got over punched?

    Nothing going on with this one, just a lot of wear, sorry.

    @tommyc03 Did you even look? at the center? or try to compare with anything? before you comment?

    Looks like a normal circulated quarter.

    Sorry Chaz, looked carefully at all the photos. If there is anything at all, it is just a bit of machine doubling at a few of the leaves. Could you point out what you are seeing? And I clicked on and enlarged them.

    Well,, I say/said punched. But I am sorry that is not what I meant exactly . Not sure the correct termanology that I should of used in this case. However I would hope to think you can see the spot I am referring too. And that you may are may not have a reference point?

    I saw the mark/spot, but I just wanted to be sure what you meant. I don't think it could be a clash, so if it is raised, it could be a die gouge.

    The area in question is nothing more then dirt or a stain on the area in question . It's not an error or variety sorry to say. keep up the hunt as there are plenty of varieties out there in every day pocket change or cherry pickin shows.
