I am sure the quarter isn't rare or valuable but I think the oxidation makes it look pretty cool and for being as old as it is and circulated it seems in really good shape to me.

I'd say it's a keeper, especially if you plucked it out of circulation yourself. It's a nice looking XF/AU coin, and there's almost $3 in silver in it. :)

Nice.. thanks for sharing.. The background makes it look like you found it in a desert with dry cracked soil. I bet you can present it much better with good lighting.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Your pictures are *extremely* shifted to the yellow. Can you try taking pictures with a more accurate color? I'll bet it is an attractive circulated quarter.

    I can try...its just a phone camera.
figured it out...my camera white balance was set wrong...that is much better imo. :D I found a 1952 as well but it just looks silver and not as cool as this one.

I think I fixed the color problem...my phone was set to cloudy for white balance. turned it to normal and got a much better shot(HD too)
